Step away from the Christmas rush and enjoy a peaceful, hands-on workshop led by the expert gardeners of Fulham Palace. In this popular annual event, you’ll create your own beautiful and sustainable wreath using natural materials foraged from the Palace gardens.

Guided by our skilled garden team, who bring floristry training and a deep knowledge of the site, you’ll learn how to design and personalise a festive wreath that reflects both the winter beauty of Fulham Palace and your own creative style.

Along the way, enjoy seasonal refreshments with complimentary tea, coffee, biscuits and the option of a warming mug of mulled wine, all included in your ticket.

This workshop is a wonderful opportunity to slow down, connect with nature and craft elegant, environmentally friendly décor to enjoy throughout the season.

Our ever-growing Christmas market includes a wonderful variety of small business stalls filled with fine foods, crafts and gifts. It’s the perfect place to pick up thoughtful presents and handcrafted stocking fillers from carefully chosen local traders. You’ll find stalls throughout the historic rooms, marquee and main drive.

Treat yourself to something delicious from our food traders and relax in the Tudor courtyard or the cosy drawing room café.

The Fulham Palace garden stall will be selling handcrafted wreaths, decorations and preserves made by our gardeners and volunteers. The museum shop will also be open with a range of festive decorations and gifts. Every purchase supports the Palace.

Father Christmas in the Historic Library

Step into a magical festive wonderland as the historic Palace is transformed for the holiday season. Children will enter through the main door and have the chance to craft a special Christmas keepsake to treasure and take home.

Next, they can meet Father Christmas in the beautifully decorated historic library, share their holiday wishes, take a memorable photo and receive a special gift. Their adventure will end with an exciting exit through the secret bookcase door, making this a truly unforgettable Christmas experience.

Tickets to see Father Christmas also include entry to the Christmas fair, where families can explore festive stalls, enjoy seasonal treats and soak up the holiday cheer. The Palace will be filled with festive magic, offering a perfect day for the whole family to celebrate the season and create lasting memories.

A Victorian Christmas: Talk, Tour & Tea

Step back in time this festive season with historian and lecturer Angela Platt, who’ll bring to life the traditions that shaped the Victorian Christmas.

After the talk, join our knowledgeable volunteer guide Lee Copeland for a festive tour of Fulham Palace. You’ll step inside the Victorian chapel, take in William Butterfield’s striking ‘Gothic Revival’ architecture and discover how Bishop Tait and his family celebrated Christmas.

We’ll then gather in the Bishop Terrick rooms to enjoy tea, coffee and plenty of mince pies.
