Last staged at SLT over a decade ago, we're buzzing with festive excitement to stage once again Tim Firth's Christmassy comedy, so full of character, humour, acute observation, but above all, heart. Amongst the chaos and calamity of a class of 7-year-olds putting on a nativity play, we will see the power of love, the pain of exclusion and neglect, the true size of a stick insect and just what it takes to push Mrs Horrocks over the edge.
Some of the language in the play reflects social attitudes of the time, which modern audiences may find offensive.
