London's favourite alternative Christmas event is back with a huge festive street party.
The Waterloo and South Bank community's free alternative Christmas party is back for the 6th year running, turning the famous Leake Street graffiti tunnel into South Bank's zaniest festive party venue for one night only.
Kicking off from 17.00 on 5 December, highlights of this year's entertainment programme include: saucy cabaret courtesy of local drag star party host Pi The Mime, salsa dancing workshops, a Christmas carol sing-along with Rock Choir and the LGBT+ community choir Pink Singers, paint-by-numbers graffiti with Leake Street's artist-in-residence and even an appearance from the glittering London School of Samba!
And, because nothing says Christmas quite like belting out some pop-bangers with your mates while rocking out under a fake snow machine (yes there will be snow!), there's also the opportunity to join the crowd in making some noise with some festive massaoke - or 'Christmassaoke' - on the big screen courtesy of Lucky Voice.
To keep you going through the evening there's also a great mix of pop-up bars and food trucks in the Leake Street tunnel and of course everyone's favourite underground Leake Street bars Passyunk Avenue, Draughts and Mamuska! will be joining in the festivities.
