Ice Skating

Greenwich Winter Time Ice Rink

Greenwich Winter Time Ice Rink

Experience the magic of skating on a bespoke, covered clear canopied ice rink in the historic courtyards of the Old Royal Naval College, on the banks of the River Thames.

Each 3-hour session begins with an on ice performance spectacular by our world-class freestylers before becoming a public ice rink for you, your friends and family to enjoy while listening to the music specially composed by the students from the world-famous Trinity Laban College.

Visitors will get the chance to skate on our bespoke, covered ice rink, before enjoying the rest of the Greenwich Winter Time Festival experience, including artisan food stalls, an independent lifestyle market, enchanting entertainment for all ages on the Mirror Stage and the opportunity to visit Father Christmas!  Entertainment is provided throughout the site by our troupe of performers and actors who are there to entertain and ensure you get the most out of your festival experience.

Skating tickets are only valid with a standard entry ticket. Book your session in advance online to guarantee your place. We recommend arriving at the Ice Rink at least 20 minutes prior to your session start time, so you can enjoy the maximum time on the ice.  Children aged 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult. This ticket includes a up to 30 minutes of skating time on the bespoke, covered Ice Rink. Skate hire is included in the ticket price.

Please note, a priority entrance gate will be available on entry to the event for skaters to allow them to get to the rink in good time. Those skating at the end of each session (Morning, Afternoon & Evening) may be directed to leave via a separate exit.
