Now in its seventh year, The London Pantomime Horse Race is back as one of the capital’s unmissable and unique Christmas charity events - hailed by Time Out as ‘fantastically silly’.
‘Neightions’ of the world unite as this year’s global themed event will see pantomime horses, dressed in the flag of their chosen country, race through the streets of Greenwich - transformed into a course for comical, cantering ponies. The event starts with a pre-race ceremony at Devonport House, Greenwich, hosted by US comedian Lewis Schaffer, featuring live performances from The NHS Choir, Glenn Tilbrook, Chris Difford and The Singing Dentist.
The Panto-Horses will then begin their hour long street race from Devonport House stopping off at various pit-stops, before reaching the finishing line to The Prince of Greenwich, Royal Hill for an after-race Christmas party, with special performance from The Cheeky Girls and one of the UK's hottest Tribute bands, U2 Tribe.
All proceeds raised from the event will be donated to The Sick Children’s Trust.
An event not to be missed!
